Emma graduated from the University of Guelph in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree honours Animal Biology. After a doing some traveling in Australia she arrived home and promptly started working in a surgery department at a large veterinary referral hospital. She immediately fell in love with the exciting, novel and fast paced environment that came with surgery. After a short stent working in pet insurance she was drawn back to veterinary surgery and landed in Dr. Miller’s office at the West Toronto Veterinary Surgery.
When not at work Emma enjoys racing sailboats on Lake Ontario and playing hockey. She is also very involved with Dog Guides of Canada and loves fostering lab and poodle puppies in hopes they will go on to help the lives of those in need.
