Dr. Jesse Cheever is a veterinarian with more than 16 years of experience, including the past five years dedicated exclusively to companion animal emergency medicine. A 2010 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Cheever has a special interest in the identification and management of complex medical cases in the emergency setting. He is also passionate about educating pet owners in an approachable and compassionate manner, helping foster a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Cheever enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters exploring everything their new home in Canada has to offer. You may also spot him walking their rescued Shepherd/Husky mix, Diamond, along the beach. Dr. Cheever looks forward to supporting pet owners throughout the GTA when their pets require emergency or overnight care and collaborating closely with the local veterinary community to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients.
